Peanut Butter Pie Recipe

This is a really disgustingly rich and yummy pie.

Here’s someone else’s picture of a similar one:

YUM

I haven’t tried their recipe, but it’s here if you decide you want a different one. They use cool whip and icing sugar instead of whipped cream and condensed milk. Either way I’m sure it’s delicious. Here’s the one Jade and I have made a couple of times.

Peanut Butter Pie

Base:
1/4 cup butter
2 cups crushed oreo cookies (about 1.5 packs)

Filling:
1 225g punnet of cream cheese
1 cup smooth peanut butter
1 standard can sweetened condensed milk
1 cup whipped cream
1 teaspoon vanilla essence

To make the base:
Crush up the cookies in a plastic bag using a rolling pin (or I guess you could use a food processor) till there are no chunks left. Melt the butter and stir in the crushed cookies. Use the back of a spoon to press and smooth out the mixture into the bottom of a 20cm pie dish. Stick in the freezer to harden it up while you make…

The filling:
Mix together the peanut butter, cream cheese and sweetened condensed milk till smooth and gooey. Add vanilla and whipped cream and mix till all nice and combined and incredibly tasty. Pour into the base and stick in the freezer till it’s solid enough to be cut easily.

Optional: put some chocolate sprinkles or buttons on top!
